Hi everyone,

My name is Bertrand. I'm writing from Vientiane - Laos. I've just bought here an Estrella . Thanks to the forum I think it may be a Japanese C5 (1999) model (Engine N° AE 02I6XX ; Frame N° 0417XXX).

It has a lot of parts missing / replaced by non-genuine ones but all-in-all it seems to work fine for over 63K at the speedometer.

I'm a noob in mechanic so if it's OK I may use your expertise from time to time ! Speaking of this I would really appreciated if you could point me towards the Service Manual (if relevant to this model ??!!).

Hi Bertrand,
welcome to the Estrella-Club.
63.000 kms is quite a lot for the small enginge.
Maybe, it's been overhauled or replaced?
The hose from the cylinder to the exhaust is not original,
but much nicer looking than the original one.
Except for the chrome.
Watch the oil-level and the camshaft-chain.
