I have recently been told that the Estrella has an electric immobilizer (wegfahrsperre?) in the ignition switch. My motorcycle has got a new ignition lock and... no it does not work. It was like this when I bought it and this has caused me some headache. Does anyone here know if it's possible to bypass this misery or is a matching new lock + CDI required?

The original CDI requires input from ignition lock via the Yellow / Grey / Red+White in CDI. This cable normally would not be required and my Ignitech Box with adjustable timing also does not have this input requirement (no such cable).
