Accidentally and painfully, I made some scratches on the exhast pipe

What can I do to prevent it from start corroding? Million thanks!

You can take heatproof, silvery color. Not very beautiful. Or regularly chrome-cleaners.

Sorry for my bad English. My last English session in school was in the year 1979.

What do you mean by "regularly chrome-cleaners"?

Maybe there's some heat proof "transparent/clear" paint that I can put on just the scratched part?

Chrome-cleaners is a polish (cleaning-agent) for chrome. Regulary means, you must use it very often.

I don't have a chrome cleaner, maybe I should get one soon.

Now I just use normal car wax for shining up my bike...
